Worked examples
- Smriti Mandhana: 4,556 T20I runs off 3,521 balls in the data = 129.40.
- Virat Kohli: 14,987 ODI runs off 15,892 balls = 94.31.
- 45 off 30 balls = 150.00.
How it works
Strike rate measures how fast a batter scores. In T20 cricket it is often more important than the average.
